TODAY'S THEME

THIS IS A POST EASTER POST!

I invite you to read this very recent Mormon Times Article from the Deseret News, our family's favorite Utah Newspaper. It was written by a regular Mormon Times author, Daniel Peterson, whose insights I appreciate very much! If you have been reading my blog fairly often you no doubt have read some of his articles that I have provided from time to time.

The Days Leading Up To Easter Sunday

I have quoted just below one of Daniel Peterson's paragraphs from the article I linked you to above.
"Modern believers in the Restoration, however, understand that, even while his body lay dead and motionless, Jesus' immortal spirit was preaching to the spirits in prison, inaugurating the great work of the redemption of the dead that is carried on now in our temples. We may not always see God visibly at work from our vantage point in this fallen world, encircled by the veil, but he is always working for our salvation." (emphasis added)
A Graveyard  -The Spirits of Your and My Dead Loved Ones Are in the Spirit World Awaiting and Preparing Themselves for the Time of Their Own Resurrections!
Continuing on with this important Easter message I now link you to one of my previous posts published on November 2, 2010 that will assist you in understanding more about what our Savior, Jesus Christ (in His Spirit Body) did in the world of Spirits while His dead mortal body still lay in the tomb in Jerusalem.
Neil Birch's Post 41r

I end this post by sharing with you a video which demonstrates Christ-like love through service shown for a handicapped boy by another teen-age boy.You may shed a few tears while viewing this video! I feel strongly it fits in so perfectly with our Easter subject. It is entitled: "Dayton's Legs."
