Post 46l: Inasmuch as each of the Holy Scriptures used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints testify of Jesus Christ, in this post I'm publishing on Friday, April 19th I have decided to emphasize once again the importance of the atonement brought about by our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ! One of the unique things about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is that along with the first presidency of the Church who are also ordained apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a Quorum of Twelve Apostles who under the direction of the First Presidency have a key role in leading this church! I have chosen today to feature a talk given by one of the twelve apostles, Elder Boyd K. Packer who is the president of the Quorum of the Twelve at this time because of his seniority. As a young man he was a professional seminary teacher in his home town of Brigham City, Utah and taught at the High School level. During a number of those years which came about somewhat near the time when he was called to serve in the administration of the Seminary program of the entire church and was headquartered at Brigham Young University located in Provo, Utah, He happened to be the administrator who arranged to have me personally interviewed for possibly becoming a full-time seminary teacher primarily with the American Indian students of high school age. I was hired and began teaching seminary both at the Brigham City, Utah Junior High School seminary building (which had just then been converted from a High School Seminary Building when a new Brigham City High School opened its doors across town as did the new High School Seminary Building leaving the old High School Seminary Building to becoming the Junior High School Seminary Building, in which he, Elder Boyd K. Packer personally had taught for a good number of years before becoming a Seminary and Institute administrator for the Church. (I also was assigned to teach in the Indian Seminary Program associated with the Intermountain Indian School there in Brigham City in the afternoons!) It actually became my privilege to teach in the same two class rooms where Elder Packer and his close friend and fellow teacher Elder Clarence Tuttle (who also served as a general authority of the Church along side his dear friend and close associate Elder Boyd K. Packer, actually taught. I felt like I could feel the spiritual influence of those two great men as I went about my sacred seminary teaching beginning in September of 1962.

The Following Explains Why My Blog has been renamed: "Four Books of Scripture Testify of Jesus Christ!

WELCOME, NEW  AND PREVIOUS VIEWERS OF THIS BLOG: In this and in every additional post of this blog you will be led on a carefully and prayerfully planned exciting and inspiring journey as you prepare by means of a guided study of the four sacred books of scripture I am shown holding above; which will assist you in becoming more righteously happy now and more fully prepared for eventual After-Mortality Eternal Endeavors on your part, along with your loved ones and countless other mortals who are seeking to qualify as our Heavenly Father's worthy children.

Those enabling Books of Scripture were brought about through the love of the Heavenly Father of our immortal spirits which now inhabit our mortal bodies; and were a key part of the Restoration of the Gospel, and of the Church of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith early in the Nineteenth Century. Also intimately  involved, and surely leading out in all of this, was of course, Our Heavenly Father's Only Begotten Son who is our Lord, Savior, and Redeemer, Jesus Christ (who initially was our eldest spirit brother and is the only one of us our Heavenly Father will have ever sired into mortality).

Jesus accomplished His infinite atonement, the Ultimate Mortal Sacrifice, along with His infallibly witnessed Resurrection. He is our Redeemer and Savior and has opened the way for each of us to learn with certainty through those four books of scripture, and through the inspired teachings of His prophets, seers and revelators of our day; that some time after our mortal deaths, thanks to His atonement and resurrection, we will each eventually experience eternal life in our own resurrected bodies, which in the case of those who truly heeded all of those teachings, there will be a full possession of Godly capabilities!
