Dear Readers of this Blog, please note that Google advertisements may appear in this blog post. They were not solicited by me and I do not profit from them. I did request particularly that Google not place them within scriptures which I often use in my blog posts. It appears they have honored that request of mine. Thank you Google!

Christ's Image -By Heinrich Hofmann |
Abinadi Appearing Before King Noah -by Arnold Friberg |
Please click on the following three scriptural links, beginning with Mosiah, Chapter 14,in which Abinadi quotes the prophet Isaiah regarding Jesus Christ. Please also read in the following two chapters as the prophet, Abinadi personally testifies of Jesus Christ to King Noah and his court.
Unbeknownst to the king and others of his court, seated somewhere to the king's left, one of his courtiers, whose name is Alma, is writing everything which Abinadi is saying. Alma believes in Abinadi's words and will later share them with other believers among his friends and acquaintances. He is the exception among the members of King Noah's court; being the only one of them who believes Abinadi's teachings about our Lord, Jesus Christ!
Book of Mormon, Mosiah, Chapter 14 (Please notice that in that chapter, Abinadi quotes from the Prophet Isaiah (Compare Isaiah 53.) Inasmuch as the Nephite people had brought with them from Jerusalem on their way to the Americas in 600 B.C., what they refer to as the Brass Plates on which were recorded many of the scriptures found in our Old Testament; however the Brass Plates contained many scriptures which are not included in our Old Testament.
You can choose to listen to each of these scriptures as you read each one!
Book of Mormon, Mosiah, Chapter 14
Book of Mormon, Mosiah, Chapter 15
Book of Mormon, Mosiah, Chapter 16
I now invite each of you to learn of the outcome of the trial of the prophet Abinadi by viewing and listening to the Book of Mormon, Mosiah, Chapter 17.
